Welcome to the 4th instalment of the UrbanAwesome Street Photography Podcast.
In our 4th edition, I talk in depth to New York based street photographer; Michael Ernest Sweet about his distinctive photographic style (Human Fragments) and how he gets so close to his subject matter, and his approach to his very unique work.
Michael is an award-winning writer and photographer, originally from Canadian background, but now a New York resident.
Personally I think Michael’s style of ‘Human Fragments’ is some of the best candid street photography around.
His photographs have appeared in Popular Photography, Black and White Magazine and in Digital Camera Magazine among others.
In this podcast, I chatted with Michael about his love of film in the early days of his photographic career, and what still inspires him to challenge himself to create better art.
